The crew of Star Warts led by the bright and brave Commander Toad land on a water filled planet on a plastic lily pad. While there, they awake a water monster who shakes their cruising ship off the lily pad. Commander Toad finds a way to inflate the lily pad further so it floats up to their spaceship while the crew members distract the monster.Unfamiliar word choice means a level three reader. The sentence length mixes short and complex. The illustrations are descriptive of something happening in the story.
